Jeffrey A. Smith is a founding partner and CEO of Geowest. With 16 years of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) experience and an undergraduate degree in urban and physical geography (University of Colorado), Jeffrey is able to develop and manage GIS projects of varied nature. Jeffrey has extensive experience utilizing GIS in the public sector with an emphasis upon parks and recreation planning projects. Jeffrey is very skilled in the use of Environmental Systems Research Institute's (ESRI) ArcMap 9.1, ArcView 3.3 and related GIS software applications for data analysis and high quality cartographic presentation support. He has a valued understanding of data translation from disparate sources and software platforms. Additionally, he skilled with Trimble Global Positioning Systems (GPS) units. Jeffrey specializes in creating value added datasets for his partners and clients - every opportunity is taken to improve spatial and tabular components of the data. Jeffrey is a coauthor of the Georeferenced Amenities Standards Process (GRASP®).

Trent Pingenot is a GIS Project Manager and Applications Developer at Geowest. He has 10 years of GIS experience and holds a Masters Degree in Geographic Information Science (University of Denver).  Trent spent two years working locally and abroad for ESRI - the world's leading developer of GIS technology. Trent has recently focused attention to developing open source web-based mapping applications for Geowest and other clients.

Dave Weber is a GIS Project Manager and Technical Lead at Geowest.  With 3 years of GIS experience and 21 years of computer hardware production management and software testing experience, Dave brings a process-driven approach to the operations of Geowest. Dave is highly skilled in  technical aspects of GIS - combining hardware, software and practical field analysis. He has experience with customized GIS software applications and GPS.  His experience is coupled with a commitment to the client to provide high quality services and professional communication.

Paige Smith is the majority founding partner, president and CFO of Geowest.  She holds an undergraduate degree in Sports Science (University of Kansas).  Paige  coordinates and manages all client and vendor contract accounts for Geowest.
